Texas Auto Loans

Texas has always bragged about its size – bigger and better are the state watchwords – and its auto population falls right into line. There are over twenty million cars registered to people in Texas, more than in any state except California. If you’re looking to add that total, there are a number of local organizations with dealer listings. In the Dallas area, the local New Car Dealer’s Association provides information on auto dealers. The Houston Automobile Dealer’s Association also lists 180 dealers with contact information.

Financing Car Loans in Texas (TX)

Let your good credit work for you by developing offers from multiple institutions, both online and in person through your auto dealership.

Refinancing an auto loan was not a common practice until recently. The explosion in leasing – about a third of all new cars that roll off the lot are now leased – has led to the acceptance of multiple financial deals being involved in keeping your car.

You’ve got to deal with a lease buyout or trade at the end of the lease; why not consider looking for a better deal halfway through the length of your car loan? If it’s a five year loan, your credit rating may have improved over two year’s time. Perhaps interest rates have dropped; perhaps there are financial institutions offering great deals in order to generate new customers. It’s worth looking into, particularly since it’s so easy to do online.
